Mullen Manor
A project of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, Mullen Manor was designed exclusively for the mobility impaired, and became the 4th building in South Jersey to serve the special needs of the mobility impaired population.

Mullen manor is one block from Camden County College.  It is a two-story building consisting of 25 units, including one-bedrooms, efficiencies and a unit for on-site maintenance staff.  There is an elevator and the building is ADA approved.  All units are wheelchair accessible with grab bars in the bathrooms and pull cords for emergencies.  A telephone system facilitates guest entry and the building is equipped with a surveillance system.

Mullen Manor is professionally managed and has a social services coordinator, who is also a Certified Social Worker.  Services provided by our SSC include but not limited to:  Supportive counseling, Individual assessments, linkage to community resources, assistance with paperwork, transportation issues, crisis intervention, as well as our activity component.  This is an independent living facility and tenants are responsible for keeping the interior of their homes cleaned and maintained.  Heat and hot water are included in the rent.  The tenants are responsible for their own electric, phone and cable (if wanted).


The building is dedicated to the memory of the late Ann Mullen, Former Mayor of Gloucester Township (1989-1994), who was instrumental in the drive to bring "Barrier -Free Housing" to Gloucester Township.
